Last weekend was spent working (YAY! Exclaimed no one ever). The food enjoyed between breaks made the situation bearable. They were the weekend highlights, obviously.

I started the day with two shots of espresso with almond milk, odd looking tomato and onion omelette (egg was super fluffy though), and wholewheat toasts with various spreads: French butter with Madagascar vanilla, goat’s cheese, melon confiture, black olives tapenade. Hashtag breakfast. Then, followed by pastas from Pancake House for lunch. Two kinds of pasts for that matter, plus taco salad. Sorry, not sorry. Then, merienda (afternoon snack) of suman (rice cake; glutinous rice cooked with coconut milk, then wrapped in palm leaves) from Antipolo and ripe mangoes from Zambales.
